Wouldn’t it be great if there could be a place where Christians could meet online to share prayer requests, bible reading plans, personal insights from the bible? Now there is, it is called Faithlife Study Bible. When you sign up for a Faithlife account you not only get an online place to meet, you also get free resources to use on-line; including bibles, a study bible and bible dictionary! If you don’t have a Logos or Faithlife account you will be asked to create one. Our church’s group is a “closed group” because we want to respect the privacy of our members and their freedom to share prayer requests without having the whole of the world-wide web seeing it. Part of the process is creating a profile, below is a helpful video on creating your profile during the setup process.
Within 48 hours you will receive permission to join. In the center there is a “Facebook” like discussion board and in the far right column you will find a verse of the day, reading plans and a prayer list. Clicking on a reading plan hyperlink will open the Faithlife Study Bible were you can read today’s reading! Here is a video overviewing the web version of the Faithlife Study Bible.
Under the document’s tab of the Churches Faithlife Page you will find a note file that adds study notes from Pastor Keith. You have the option of adding these study notes to your Faithlife Study Bible.
There are also iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire Apps available of the Faithlife Study Bible, just search for them at their respective App Stores. Finally the Faithlife Study Bible is fully compatible with the Logos Bible Software! Below is an overview of the iPad App.
