Welcome to Greene Valley Presbyterian Church!
Greene Valley is a body of Christ Followers that strive to love God and love others. We hope that you feel welcomed and invited as you visit our church.
When are your worship services and Sunday School times?
GVPC is committed to the ordinary means of grace: God’s Word, Prayer and Sacraments, as regular parts of worship. Services range between 70 – 80 minutes.
Adult and children’s Sunday School begins at 9:45 am
Our Sunday worship begins at 10:50 am.
What is the Sermon like?
Our sermons are expository (verse by verse) in nature and reflect our commitment to historical reformed worship and theology. Our worship is not simply “warm up” to the sermon, but embodies the entire congregation.
Are you a part of a denomination?
Greene Valley Presbyterian Church is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a reformed and evangelical denomination founded in 1973 with roots which reach to the Protestant Reformation of the 1500’s.
What programs do you have for children?
Kindergarten Church is offered for children in preschool – Kindergarten. We offer Junior Church for children 1st -6th grade. Nursery facilities are provided.
We have an active children’s choir available.
What programs do you have for teenagers?
We consider our youth a vital part of our church. We have a weekly service time for both middle school and Highschool on Sunday nights at 6:00pm. This is a time when teenagers have an opportunity to study God’s Word together and encourage each other in the faith.
What programs do you have for adults?
Sunday morning we gather together for worship. At GVPC, we offer many avenues for members and friends to participate in worshiping God, including adult and children’s choirs. Our choir has been serving the church and community for decades. We have rotating groups of people who assist in our time of musical praise. We have ensembles which share the gift of music with local residents of retirement centers.
What translation of the Bible do you use?
Our congregation uses a variety of translations, including the NASB, NIV, KJV, NKJV, and ESV. The translation from which our pastor preaches is in our pews is the English Standard Version.
